The San Francisco Giants continue to trim down their roster at Spring Training as they send four more players down to the minor league camp on Tuesday night.

John Bowker, Clay Timpner, Osiris Matos, and Kelvin Pichardo were all optioned down to the minor league camp where they will continue to get some work during spring training.

Now is the time where the big league team will start to play alot more of their regular players and get them more at bats since the upcoming season will be here soon.

Well that sure didn’t take long!  The San Francisco Giants have already sent five players to their minor league camp rather then the big league camp.

Brian Horwitz, Pablo Sandoval, Jackson Williams, Ben Copeland and Mike McBryde have already been sent down.  That can’t do to well with their confidence.  All they can do is keep plugging away and hope to get that one chance so many players hope for with the big league team.
